Getting Started
The Low Effort Administration Tool (lowFAT) is the SSI’s central platform for managing the Fellowship Programme. Staff use lowFAT to manage Fellow profiles, review and approve funding requests, process expense claims, and manage blog post submissions and outputs.
This guide is intended for SSI staff with administrative responsibilities within lowFAT. It covers how to review and act on submissions made by Fellows, manage Fellow records, and understand the workflows and statuses used throughout the system.
Accessing lowFAT
lowFAT is hosted at https://fellows.software.ac.uk/. Staff should bookmark this address for easy access. To log in, click “Sign in” (not “Sign in with Github”) and enter your SSI staff credentials. If you have not received your login credentials or need a password reset, contact the system administrator or email fellows-management@software.ac.uk.
